About the lawsuit
Generac and certain of its officers are alleged to have failed to disclose material information during the Class Period in violation of federal securities laws.
On October 19, 2022, the Company reported dismal third quarter 2022 preliminary financial results, including a pre-tax charge of $55 million related to the warranties and expenses for its clean energy products resulting from a distributor’s bankruptcy filing. On the news, Generac shares fell $37.44 per share, or 25%.
