Global Citizen Live announces the lineup of events in New York, Paris, and Lagos

New York City – Global Citizen Live will return to New York City!

The international advocacy organization Global Citizen revealed a huge lineup of artists that will perform at live events in cities around the world, including New York City’s Central Park.

“Coldplay is with Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Shaun Mendez, Camila Cabello, Meek Mill-these are the most outstanding artists of our generation, but they are all part of this global movement,” co-founder and co-founder Hugh Evans Say. Chief Executive Officer of Global Citizen.

This 24-hour global event will be held on September 25, with live events in Lagos, Nigeria, and festivals in Paris and New York City.

Evans said: “We will broadcast live to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, where Ed Sheeran started. We will broadcast it to London, and we will broadcast it to cities around the world.”

This is the list of artists performing for Global Citizen Live

-New York City: Coldplay, Billie Elish, Camilla Cabello, Jennifer Lopez, Lizzo, Mick Mill, Sean Mendes; Alessia Cara, Burna Boy, Cyndi Special guest performances by Lauper, Jon Batiste and Lang Lang
-Lagos, Nigeria: Femi Kuti, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Made Kuti
-Paris, France: Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, DJ Snake, HER, Black Eyed Peas, Christine and Queen; special guest performance by Angélique Kidjo
-More locations and performances around the world will be announced in August

You must wear a mask and get vaccinated to participate or test negative for COVID within 72 hours after the show.

Evans said: “From a health and COVID compliance perspective, we are following the guidelines of all states and cities.”

This effort is aimed at responding to climate change, hunger crisis and pandemic, and urges leaders to provide vaccines to every country.

Evans said: “Unless we end this pandemic for everyone, we will not be able to control this pandemic, and a new variant will emerge.

In May, Global Citizen held a VAX Line event in Los Angeles, and obtained more than US$300 million and 26 million vaccines for underserved countries.

Tickets for the Central Park performance will be issued through a lottery.

“You have to take an action trip. Go Global Citizen Network Then you start to take action, all your actions will earn you points, and then you use those points to enter the lottery,” Evans said.

Taking action includes signing petitions and calling Congress. You can use these points to participate in the draw.

The event on September 25 will also be broadcast and livestreamed around the world, including on ABC7.

Evans said: “In September of this year, we hope to adjust everyone we want in a variety of ways-this is the moment of our generation.”
