Lately, JPMorgan Chase & Co JPM asked 40% of staff to work a few days a week and 50% to return to the office five days a week.

“There is a significantly lower risk of serious illness – consistent with [CDC] updated protocols, if you have not come into the office, please speak to your manager to ensure you understand and are adhering to your department’s current return-to-office expectations,” the Goldman memo said received from the New York Post read.

According to the memo, Goldman will scale back its testing program and end the company’s distribution of test kits by the end of the year.

However, Goldman is paying for Covid testing, which is covered by insurance, tracing contacts and alerting employees who have interacted with infected people.

“We continue to make steady progress by bringing our employees together in the office, which is core to Goldman Sachs’ educational culture and client-centric business,” a Goldman spokeswoman told The Post.

The Post source said that Goldman CEO David Solomon intends for the company to set the precedent for return to work. “They got people back into the office and are miles ahead of their peers.”
