Greenberg Traurig recently defended client Appdiction Studio in a US Court of Federal Claims protest over a $75 million Blanket purchase agreement to the company for technical support in application development, maintenance and integration services for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The court’s decision allows Appdiction, a small business owned by disabled veterans (“SDVOSB”), to maintain this contract business and continue to provide agile support for FEMA disaster recovery technology programs. The court dismissed all grounds of protest and rejected the plaintiff’s proposal to amend the administrative record and supported Appdiction’s arguments in these areas.

Greenberg Traurig also recently successfully received an a 30 million dollars Defense Logistics Agency Small Business 8(a) Decommissioning Agreement on behalf of Client Operations Services Inc. (OSI).

Following an initial affirmative decision in the fall of 2021, the Small Business Administration Office of Hearings and Appeals on appeal upheld the original sizing and agreed with the client’s argument that the apparent recipient exceeded the sizing standard for a defunct small business award and was therefore ineligible to receive . The decision opened the door for OSI to win this significant contract.
