What happened?: on chain Data shows that Melania’s NFT collection has fallen in value by over 100% since it was first launched earlier this year at 382 SOL each.

At the time of writing, SOL was trading at $12.37, up 0.76% over the past 24 hours.

If you had invested in the collection at launch, your initial investment of $35,678 would now be worth less than $25. In January, SOL was trading at $93 according to CoinMarketCap. This means a massive loss.

This has also been reported Melania sold herself an NFT for $170,000.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump launched its NFT collection which became a much-discussed topic on late-night TV shows. The collection consists of 45,000 individual collectibles and sold out for $4.45 million within a day of launch. Originally priced at $99 each, individual NFTs have since fetched significantly higher prices due to incredible demand.
