A Tesla Supercharger may have upped the charging game by providing a spot for those waiting to jump into a pool. Learn how one country is driving the delivery of advanced amenities at Tesla Supercharger locations.
What happened: A Tesla Supercharger station in Hilden, Germany recently received a mobile swimming pool, as reported electr.
The pool is slated to open on Thursday, according to the report, with reported hours of operation Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
There are instructions on the swimming pool advising that up to four people can use it at the same time for up to 10 minutes at a time. Tesla brand balls are shown with the pool, which might be a new merchandise item.
The pool consists of a container that makes it portable, something that could be used to test it in other locations or remove it if it doesn’t catch on as a convenience.
Electrek reports that the Tesla Supercharger in Hilden, Germany, is one of the largest in the country with 40 chargers. The charger is also equipped with CCS and could be one of the first to be open to non-Tesla vehicles in Germany. The site has solar panels and restaurants as other amenities in addition to the swimming pool.
