According to Twitter CEO Elon Musk the idea of a general amnesty for banned accounts on Twitter came up, he now says he would make an alternative phone if apple inc AAPL and alphabet inc Google Google decides to remove the social media platform from the App Store and Google Play.
As answer to Liz Wheelers Tweets asking if Musk would make his smartphone when Apple and Google boot Twitter, Musk said he would make an alternative phone.
Of course I hope it doesn’t come to that, but yes if there is no other choice I will make an alternative phone

Following Musk’s response, Wheeler launched a poll asking people if they were using a “tELONphone.”
At the time of writing, the poll found 51.7% of people saying yes and 48.3% saying no.

Musk’s tweet quickly garnered attention on the social media platform.
A Twitter user asked if Musk could make phones affordable.

Musk’s comments come after Apple’s senior vice president Phil Schiller recently deleted his Twitter account. Schiller was on Twitter for 14 years.
