LA HABRA, California, Dec. 15, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Howards, Southern California’s leading independent home appliance retailer, announced the promotions of Michelle Nein as President and Stacy Leiker as Chief Operating Officer.

No was elected to her new position by Howard’s Board of Directors, of which she has been a member since 2021. She gained industry knowledge working for the BSH Home Appliances Division where she oversaw brand strategy, creative and major launches for the Thermador brand, and held senior positions in corporate marketing and e-commerce for brands such as Starbucks, Coca-Cola, ASICS, RJ Reynolds, KIA and Hyundai. No joined Howard’s leading efforts in marketing, e-commerce and customer acquisition in 2019.

“I’m committed to continuing to expand Howard’s customer-centric approach,” said Nein. “As President, I will focus our efforts on improving the retail device shopping experience by introducing seamless new tools that help customers shop, track their orders, and get hassle-free delivery and installation.”

In addition to maintaining strong brand partnerships and expanding Howard’s product range, No’s key objectives include executing business strategies to increase market share and continued growth of existing businesses. She will also focus on attracting and retaining new customers, introducing Howard’s new personalized delivery and installation program and continuing to roll out the new in-store customer experience. She will also focus on continued expansion into underserved markets in the Western United States.

“Michelle inspired the company to improve and simplify the customer experience at Howard’s,” said John Riddle, CEO of Howard. “She led our original Genesis team to develop our Revolutionary Appliance Retail Experience (RARE), a streamlined, frictionless shopping experience using innovative digital technologies that have led to new, creative ways for customers to make purchasing decisions.”
