HONG KONG and SHANGHAI, China and FLORHAM PARK, NJ, May 12, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – HUTCHMED (China) Limited (“HUTCHMED“ or the “Company”) (Nasdaq/AIM:​HCM, HKEX:​13) refers to its May 10, 2023 announcement of the appointment of Professor Solange Peters as an independent non-executive Director, Technical Committee Member and Member of the Company’s Audit Committee effective as of the conclusion of the Company’s annual general meeting on May 12, 2023 (“General Meeting”). The Company announces today that the effective date of these appointments will be postponed to a later date to be announced by the Company.

The Company also announces that Professor Mok Shu Kam, Tony, will be appointed as a member of the Company’s Audit Committee following the conclusion of the AGM, subject to the re-election of Professor Mok as a director by the shareholders at the AGM.
