LUND, Sweden, December 14, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — InCoax has received an order from the US fiber/LAN operator for software maintenance, operation and platform support of installed InCoax systems. The order is $0.49 million (5 million SEK). The contract will be invoiced in 2022 and revenue will be deferred for four years from 2022 January 2023.
The order includes the maintenance and know-how for the operation of the InCoax fiber access system, reducing the operator’s need for operating personnel. By selling these services, InCoax is taking a step towards even closer cooperation with the operator, who will have access to InCoax’s skills and know-how as an ongoing service.
The global managed telecom services market was at $20 billion in 2021 and is projected to grow 13.6% over the forecast period to 2030, according to a report by Reports and Data for 2021. Operators generally need to improve financial performance and reduce operational costs, and one way to do this is to outsource functions to professional providers who can offer improved efficiencies and economies of scale.
“We’ve spent a long time designing our managed services offerings and this engagement is good proof that the strategy is on the right track“, says Jörgen Ekengren, CEO of InCoax Networks AB.
“InCoax will gradually introduce additional managed services offerings in the form of product packages that simplify the offering and clarify the value of our delivery“, says Helge TiainenHead of Marketing, Sales and Product Management.
