Why it matters: According to Apple and many others, users should keep their iPhone’s battery level between 30% and 80%. Consistent padding to 100% is not optimal. While not necessarily bad for battery health, routinely shutting down to 0% prematurely can cause a battery to deteriorate prematurely. reported macworld.
Apple also advises users not to expose their device to ambient temperatures higher than 35°C or 95°F, as this can “permanently damage battery capacity.”
