Increase your iPhone’s battery life with this simple hack

Tired of worrying iPhones battery life? Apple designA youtube Channel with over 62,400 subscribers, talks about a common mistake most Apple owners make.

What happened: AppleDsign shared a video on YouTube saying Apple users should “not charge their phones to 100%”.

The ideal level should be between 20% and 90% – and there’s a simple hack that might help users with that.

Just follow these steps:

Step I: Go to the Shortcuts app and go to Automation. Click here to create a personal automation.

Step II: Scroll down and go to Battery Level. Bring the slider to 85% to 90% and click Next.

Step III: Press Add action and select Speak text.

Step IV: Click the text box and enter any alert phrase.

Step V: Press the small blue icon next to the text to select your desired voice.

Step VI: Click Done in the bottom right.

Step VII: To finish, press Next, uncheck Ask before running, and click Done.

Step VIII: Now go through the same steps but under battery level select falls before 20% and change the voice alert.

Why it matters: According to Apple and many others, users should keep their iPhone’s battery level between 30% and 80%. Consistent padding to 100% is not optimal.
