Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the US are Threatening to physically eliminate the Russian President Wladimir Putin.

What happened: Lavrov expressed concerns when addressing statements by “unnamed officials.” Pentagon on Delivering ‘Decapitation Strike’ on the Kremlin in one interview with the Russian state news agency TASS.

“Washington went furthest: there some ‘unnamed officials’ from the Pentagon actually threatened to deliver a ‘decapitation blow’ to the Kremlin, in fact we are talking about threatening the physical removal of the Russian head of state. If such ideas are actually nurtured by someone, then that someone should think very carefully about the possible consequences of such plans,” Lavrov said.

He also claimed that West gave confrontational signals on the nuclear front and said it’s all over the “allowable” limit.

“Not to mention the unscheduled provocations of the Kiev regime. [Ukrainian President] Volodymyr Zelenskyy agreed to call for pre-emptive nuclear strikes by NATO countries against Russia. This, too, goes beyond the limits of what is permissible. However, we have not heard this from the leaders of the regime,” Lavrov added.

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Minister threat of increased military activity in Ukraine if Kyiv does not comply with the Kremlin’s proposed solutions.

“The point is simple: fulfill them for your own good. Otherwise the matter will be decided by the Russian army.”
