The Meta Platforms, Inc. META-own Facebook platform took down the 20-year-old’s page Jack Sweeneywho has been thrust into the limelight by pursuing the billionaire Elon Musk’s Jet.

Sweeney took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a letter he received from Facebook detailing his decision on the matter. He captioned the tweet, “Really @Facebok.”

“Unfortunately, your page, Elon Musk’s Jet, has not been published as it violates Facebook Page terms,” ​​the social media platform stated. As a result, other people can’t see the page and the teen can’t add new people to help work on his page, Facebook added. However, he can still see the page.

Sweeney reportedly told Business Insider that the bot he uses to track Musk’s planes temporarily caused the bot to crash in other locations. He appealed but had not heard from Facebook, the report said.

However, his “elonmusksjet” account on Facebook’s sister app Instagram is still active.

Sweeney set up the @ElonJet Twitter account in June 2020 and finally came to prominence when he announced in January 2022 that he had been offered $5,000 by the billionaire himself to shut down the account. He later asked Musk to up the ante to $50,000, which was turned down by the EV innovator.

Later, Sweeney agreed to end prosecution of Tesla CEO if Musk invited him on a flight in his jet and allowed the experience to be recorded and shared. Musk has not yet responded.
