Twitter has begun Unwinding his old blue tick verified program.
Users can now only keep their blue ticks by signing up for Twitter’s paid subscription program and paying $8 per month.

Now owner and billionaire of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban also expressed his concerns about Twitter Blue to Musk.
In a tweet on Friday, Cuban asked Elon Musk why he was losing hundreds of Twitter followers a day despite paying for a Twitter Blue subscription.
Musk said that starting April 15, non-Blue subscribers “are not eligible for ‘For You’ recommendations,” and that only verified accounts paying Twitter $8 a month can take polls on the platform.

Last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez shared her dismay at this Musk’s plan to remove the old blue ticks that help verify Twitter users.
In November 2022, Musk announced that Twitter Blue would be available to everyone, but with a price tag.
He tweeted at the time: “Twitter’s current lords and peasants system of who has a blue tick or not is bullshit. power to the people! Blue for $8/month.”
However, the service was soon paused after flooding the platform with verified trolls. The platforms restarted the service in December.
