- The new facility will use a combination of McDonald’s existing space and an additional 15,000 square feet of leased space.
- McDonald’s plans to move all jobs from its Romeoville innovation center to MHQ’s Speedee Labs, expanding its Cook County workforce.
- McDonald’s moved its headquarters from Oak Brook, IL to Chicago’s West Loop in 2018.
- Speedee Labs anticipates that a phased opening will begin in the second half of 2023 when teams currently operating services outside of the IC will move to the MHQ.
