TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Ontario Federation of Labor (OFL) and union leaders from the coalition that launched the charter action against Bill 124 will hold a press conference on the court’s decision.
The Ontario Supreme Court has thrown out Bill 124 in its entirety on the grounds that it violates basic constitutional rights to collective bargaining and strike action.
On Wednesday November 30th at 9:30 am Patty Coates, OFL President, will be joined by union leaders to mark this important victory.
