DALLAS, Nov. 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Michael (Mike) Adelberg takes office today as Executive Director of the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP). Adelberg succeeds Eme Augustini, who has served the Association for 10 years, including three years as Executive Director.

Adelberg comes to NADP after leading Faegre Drinker Consulting’s healthcare providers and plans practice in Washington, DC, where his practice focused primarily on insurance benefits, including dental benefits. Prior to joining Faegre Drinker Consulting, Mike held several senior positions at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Adelberg was responsible for creating the Affordable Care Act policy for pediatric dental insurance and stand-alone dental plans. Prior to that, he oversaw Medicare Advantage plan completion and market behavior, including supplemental dental benefits.

Adelberg holds master’s degrees in public policy and administration from Northern Illinois University and in history from Rutgers University.
