Popular YouTuber MrBeastwhose real name is Jimmy DonaldsonHe stated that he will donate money to charity after his fans helped rebrand its candy bars at retail stores like WalMart.

What happened: “To show how grateful I am to everyone who helped Tiddy [sic] Things up, I’m going to donate $100,000 to charity,” he tweeted Tuesday.

“What charity should I donate to?” he asked his followers.

Responses trickled in, ranging from requests for a children’s hospital and an organization that facilitates play for disabled children.

Why it matters: Donaldson, who has over 130 million followers on YouTube, earlier this month asked his followers to help clean up messy displays of feastables at Walmart and other retail outlets.

It received a huge response, with fans tweeting pictures of themselves from stores and even buying some candy bars in support.

In January, Donaldson said He paid a thousand people for cataract surgery with the help of a non-profit organization.

According to Forbes, he earned an estimated $54 million in 2021.
