Twitter CEO Elon Musk former President reinstatedDonald Trump’sTwitter account last week after a platform poll asking users if Trump’s account should be restored. His account wasbanned after January 6 attack on US Capitol.
However, Trump said he was not interestedwhen returning to Twitter. Instead, he announced that he would stick with his own social media site, Truth Social. The platform is owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, which has an upcoming merger with SPACDigital World Acquisition Corp(NASDAQ: DWAC).
On Friday, one of Musk’s supporters, Tim Young, tweeted: "It’s been a week since @elonmusk brought Trump back… and without him even tweeting once… The Left can’t handle it."
Musk responded by saying he was "It’s good if Trump doesn’t tweet" and argued it was important for Twitter to rectify this "big mistake" to block his account.
