US stocks traded mixed towards the end of trade, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 50 points on Tuesday.

The Dow fell 0.16% to 34,191.46, while the NASDAQ rose 0.51% to 11,952.38. The S&P 500 was also up 0.16% to 4,143.79.

Leading and lagging sectors

• Consumer discretionary stocks rose 0.1% on Tuesday. Meanwhile top winner in the sector included NaaS Technology Inc. NAASby 7% and Aptive SPS APTVincreased by 8%.
• In Tuesday trading, real estate stocks fell 1.5%.

US consumer prices rose 0.5%m/m in January, the fastest in three months, in line with market expectations. Annual inflation in the US fell to 6.4% in January from 6.5% in December.

• shares of SkyWater Technology, Inc. SKYT got a boost, rising 29% to $14.76 after the company posted better-than-expected Q4 results.
• Amesit Inc. AMST Shares were also higher, gaining 102% to $0.5669 after the company announced GPT-3 based functionality for its AI toolkit for customers and users.

• Top Ships Inc. SHARPEN Shares fell 46% to $0.8871. TOP Ships is priced at $13.6 million registered direct offers at $1.35 per unit.
• shares of Soligenix, Inc. SNGX fell 26% to $4.2950 after the company announced it had received a refusal from the FDA to submit a letter for its new drug application HyBryte for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
• Mobiquity Technologies, Inc. MOBQ fell 33% to $0.3551. Mobiquity Technologies reported a public offering of $3.75 million.
