After the game, Beal went to the dressing room when a fan’s comments caught his attention.
“You made me lose $1,300 you shit,” a fan yelled at Beal, according to a police report shared by ESPN.
Beal walked towards the fan and knocked his hat off his head to touch the fan’s head. The NBA player told the fan playing basketball is his job and he takes it seriously. The fan apologized on the police video and told Beal he had no intention of offending him.
“Keep it at a dollar. I don’t care about your bets or parlays, brother. That’s not why I play the game,” Beal told the fan. after to TMZ Sports.
According to TMZ, the incident lasted less than a minute.
