Jakarta, Indonesia, August 3, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi, Tbk (Mitratel) and PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for ownership transfer of 6,000 telecom towers from Telkomsel to Mitratel (July 29). The agreement between these companies offsets the corporate action to redirect property following the redirection of 10,050 telecom towers in 2020 and 2021.

In addition to the agreement to transfer ownership of telecom towers, Telkomsel has also agreed a new Tower Construction Order Commitment from Telkomsel to Mitratel for a total of 1,000 telecom towers over the next three years, as well as several other business initiatives such as leveraging IoT (Internet of Thing), Green Energy Services and other New Ecosystem Tower Businesses. In total, the total telecom towers owned by Mitratel reach more than 34,800 units.
