Oregon has been at the forefront of psychedelics since the passage of Measure 109, which created legal psilocybin-assisted adult service centers already 2020. The facility, named EPIC Healing Eugene, will perform the legal psilocybin administration and monitoring of patients in distress. “This is such a historic moment as psilocybin services will soon be available in Oregon and we appreciate the strong commitment to customer safety and access as the service center doors prepare to open,” said Angie Allbee, Area Manager of Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS), in a press release.

Moderators must be licensed by themselves and psilocybin products sold in the service centers must be manufactured by a licensed manufacturer and tested in a licensed laboratory.

At the moment, the state authority issued Three manufacturer licenses, one laboratory license, five facilitator licenses and 84 work permits as well as 168 incomplete applications to date and a total of 342 submitted applications with additional licenses of each category expected to be issued in the coming months.
