The nominating committee proposes Torgny Hellstrom as the new CEO of Terranet AB. Torgnys A large network of contacts and many years of experience in business development and sales on an international level will strengthen the long-term development of the company.

Significant advances in product development have enabled Terranet to evolve from a development company to one that is also more focused on commercialization and distribution. The nominations committee has sought to adjust the composition of the board to reflect the development of Terranet. Torgny’s background provides the Board with the expertise to meet the need for increased business development and sales experience and is expected to contribute greatly to Terranet’s future commercial development.

“I am impressed by the results Torgny has achieved in other companies. His years of experience will bring a perfect combination of business focus and innovation as Terranet now focuses more and more on BlincVision’s sales and marketing,” says Julian Aleksov, Chair of the Nominations Committee.

The current CEO, Göran Janson, will be proposed for re-election as a member of the Executive Board. With more than 40 years of experience in research, development and product management, he will continue to play an important role in Terranet’s product development.

“I am delighted to welcome Torgny and the valuable expertise he brings to Terranet. The board members look forward to working with him. This allows me to focus my attention on contributing to the company’s key technological advances,” says Göran Janson.

Karolina Bjurehed has declined re-election and will thus leave the board of Terranet to focus on her other responsibilities as a VC investor and investment director at Industrifonden.
