CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 13, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Prospera Energy Inc. (PEI): TSX: PEI-V; OTC (US): GXRFF; FRA (Germany): OF6A
Prospera Energy is primarily focused on optimizing hydrocarbon recovery through environmentally friendly and efficient reservoir development methods and production practices. The restructured PEI has increased gross production levels from 80 bpd to 925 boepd (750 bpd) in a year and a half. PEI has trialed horizontal laterals to assess and improve technical and economic efficiencies to effectively capture the significant remaining reserves (400 million barrels).
PEI’s primary goals are to improve profit margins through increased production levels and reduced operating costs while maintaining regulatory and environmental compliance. The horizontal tributaries allow PEI to optimize production and recovery while reducing the environmental footprint by eliminating the numerous vertical leases along the crosspath. In addition, PEI’s ESG initiatives are designed to integrate innovative technologies to reduce carbon emissions, increase carbon capture and technologies to improve margin.
PEI is pleased to announce the engagement of Aduro Clean Technologies inc (“Aduro”) innovation that reduces inventory, improves product specification, increases unit economics and has a reduced carbon footprint. PEI’s core assets are medium to heavy duty (12-17 API) oil properties along the Alberta-Saskatchewan border at Cuthbert, Heart Hills and Luseland. Recently, PEI has acquired interests in the Brooks light oil property in order to diversify the product mix away from exposure to heavy oil differentials. PEI is motivated by the significant potential impact bitumen upgrade technology can have on PEI’s operational netback.
