Rudy Giuliani sued by ex-wife Judith for $262,000 over divorce

Rudy Giulianis Ex-wife demands he pay over a quarter million dollars immediately as part of divorce settlement or he could be jailed for contempt of court.

What happened: Judith Giuliani made her claim in papers filed Tuesday with the New York State Supreme Court, according to PageSix report.

Judith reportedly said Rudy owed her $140,000 for a Palm Beach estate and $70,000 in dues for a country club membership.

Included in the demand is $5,000 a month for an assistant or housekeeper, for which Judith says Rudy owes $45,000 in back payment, according to PageSix.

Why it matters: Giuliani’s ex-wife wants him to put up $262,000 and says he owns multiple properties in New York City and [likely] Palm Beach and “significant earnings from its media-related contracts and deals.”

Judith’s attorneys reportedly said the former president’s former attorney donald trump infringes the court for not making the payment.

“Your failure to appear in court may result in immediate arrest or detention for contempt of court,” the filing said.

After a 15-year marriage to Rudy, Judith filed for divorce in April 2018, which was contentious and included a dispute over a $30 million fortune, TV remote controls and Christmas decorations.

The former couple settled in December 2019 and details of the agreement were not disclosed, according to PageSix.

Giuliani has been ordered to testify before a Georgia grand jury next week investigating Trump’s actions in the state. reported CNN.
