Amid media reports suggesting the US may have been involved destruction of north current gas pipelines last September, Russia has asked Washington to prove it was not behind the blasts.
What happened: The Embassy of Russia in the United States said that on Thursday Russia is considering destroying Nord Stream pipelines “an act of international terrorism” and would not allow it to be swept under the rug, Reuters reported.

This was announced by the Russian embassy citing a recent report by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hershwhich cited unidentified sources who claimed US Navy divers had destroyed the pipelines with explosives on Presidential orders Joe Biden.
The The US has denied the allegations as “absolutely false and complete fiction”.
“It is pure disinformation that the United States was behind what happened,” said a US State Department spokesman Ned price said on Wednesday.
