The last tweet from FTX FTT/USD founder Sam Bankman Fried “SBF” before his arrest was a clear and unequivocal denial – he stated that he was not part of a chat group called “Wirefraud”.
What happened: On Monday evening, a cryptanalyst “db” sent a shocking tweet claiming that members of a closed group at FTX had formed a private chat group called “Wirefraud” and used it to exchange classified operational information in the weeks leading up to the dramatic collapse of the company.

SBF responded to the tweet by saying, “If that’s true, then I wasn’t a member of that inner circle. I’m pretty sure it’s just wrong; I have never heard of such a group.”
This was SBF’s last tweet prior to the arrest in the Bahamas. The FTX founder is reportedly facing charges of wire fraud, wire fraud conspiracy, securities fraud. Securities fraud conspiracy and money laundering.
