On March 15, 2023, LivePerson issued a press release announcing its fourth quarter 2022 financial results, in which the company reported a decrease in loss and revenue. In its press release, LivePerson also announced that its subsidiary, WildHealth, has received notice that Medicare is suspending reimbursement of services under the Medicare Demonstration Program (the “Program”), under which certain non-core Medicare services are provided and reimbursed become . Accordingly, LivePerson stated that given the “inherent uncertainty as to the timing and amount of further reimbursements for program services,” the Company has decided to accrue a reserve for program service related revenue in the fourth quarter of 2022 which payment has not yet been collected.”

As a result of this news, LivePerson’s share price fell $5.64 per share, or 57.73%, to close at $4.13 per share on March 16, 2023.
