She is an interior designer and the daughter of a British design legend, so it’s no surprise that Sophie Conlan’s country house is full of color, personality and serious style.
Sophie, 55, is the daughter of Sir Terrence Conlan and his third wife and culinary writer Caroline Herbert. She shared a photo of Georgia Manor on her Instagram, showing the order Stunning characteristics of the times, vast venues and elegant interior decoration.
After three years of searching for the perfect country house, the designer bought a second-listed Wiltshire property in 2013 with her husband, financier Nick Hofgren, and thereafter Has been focusing on “stripping” the original charm of the property.

“It has the most amazing ratio,” Conlan said in an interview with the British version of Vogue last year. ‘Huge French windows with original shutters. We moved in. My vision is to respect the architecture and divest it. I want to make it a friend’s house and make you happy.

A quick glance at Conlan’s Instagram updates makes it easy to see her love of color: the room is decorated in pink, blue, and green.
“Architecture has a great influence on my way of decorating,” Conlan said. “Looking out from the window, it is full of buttercups and flowers-imitating orange blooming. This house brings out my romance.

The civil ceremony was held in Marlborough, Wiltshire in December 2020, and several photos of the event shared indicate that the reception was held at Sophie’s.
Sophie also shares her son Felix with her ex-husband Alex Wilcock. The two jointly run the furniture manufacturer Maker & Son.
Attendees included Coco’s uncle Jasper Conran (Jasper Conran) and his partner, artist Oisin Byrne.
Alex and Coco got engaged in May and plan to hold their wedding in May 2021, but in view of the pandemic restrictions, they decided to advance the date and reduce the plan.

In an interview with Tatler, Coco said: “From start to finish, the whole day is very magical. I will not change anything.
“What’s particularly enjoyable about holding a smaller wedding is that we are surrounded by people we care about very much, and we have a lot of time to be alone with them that day.”
The bride designed her own dress, designed one with her signature square collar, and matched it with a matching jacket and pants hidden under the skirt.
Meanwhile, Coco’s brother Song Wilcock wore a similar bright pink design, while the other wore a forest green dress.
