Tesla Inc. TSLA According to Elon Musk, AI Day 2022 is scheduled to begin “precisely” at 9:15 p.m. ET.

Musk and other executives, including Tesla’s director of Autopilot software Ashok Elluswamy, would likely make presentations.

Tesla AI Day 2 will be live streamed on the Tesla website and you can follow this space for important updates from the event.

Notable updates expected from the event relate to the Optimus Tesla bot, full self-driving software, the Dojo supercomputer, Tesla’s neural network training supercomputer, and possibly robotaxis.

9:10 p.m. EDT: The event is live and appears to be sold out; with over 30,000 viewers since it’s just getting started. Techno music will be played accompanied by visual effects of some funky patterns that match the theme of the event.

9:15 p.m. EDT: All right, Musk is on stage and we’re getting started – with robotic hands in the background pointing to Optimus.

9:20 p.m. EDT: Musk begins by pointing out Optimus and reminding us that Tesla is a public company. He jokingly remarks that he too is not immune to gunfire, especially when going insane. According to Musk, AI, autopilot, dojo, and a “long” question-and-answer session are on the agenda — people are welcome to ask existential or technical questions — whatever floats their boat.

9:22 p.m. EDT: Tesla-Bot is on stage – a real one, an elegant looking one! It now waves to the crowd. So we have a prototype!
