“Rich dad, poor dad” author Robert Kiyosaki said the “Shark Tank” star in December 2022 Kevin O’Leary doesn’t look so “wonderful” to be a speaker Sam Bankman Fried‘, which paid him a whopping $15 million.

What happened: In a tweet, Kiyosaki urged his Twitter followers to learn from O’Leary’s mistake: “Your reputation is worth more than money.”

O’Leary said so in December 2022 he was paid a little less than $15 million to be a spokesman for FTX, but lost almost all of the money after the cryptocurrency firm collapsed.

In a Senate hearing last month O’Leary blamed Binance exploiting the FTX scandal to gain a global monopoly through putting FTX FTT/USD closed. He cited Bankman-Fried’s purchase of Binance FTX shares as evidence that some money was transferred to Binance.

CEO and co-founder of Binance Changpeng Zhaocommonly known as “CZ,” last week called O’Leary a “liar” and said he makes “a bunch of nonsensical claims” about Binance.

In November 2022, FTX filed for bankruptcy with more than $10 billion in liabilities. This news came shortly after SBF’s arrest by Bahamian authorities on charges including wire fraud, conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit securities fraud and money laundering.

Ark investment management CEO Cathie Wood was too quick to criticize Bankman-Friedsay that the decentralization and transparency of Bitcoin BTC/USD made the FTX founder uncomfortable.
