The Early Careers Foundation is a registered social mobility charity. Funded entirely by the ECC, it runs a variety of grassroots initiatives to help young people from low-income backgrounds gain the tools, exposure, knowledge and skills needed to enter the business world.
The company for young careers is a private company focused on social mobility, DEI and early careers, helping companies to become socially inclusive employers, developing world-class opportunities for young people and running global recruitment campaigns.
The Early Careers Group believes that commerce and charity can coexist, aiming to solve the challenges of social mobility and early talent from both a social and commercial perspective. Early careers are a tool for creating a fairer society with a fairer distribution of opportunities. Landing a great first job for a low-income young adult can be a life-changing event, and given ECG’s close association with early careers, it can be used to transform social mobility and equal opportunity.
In the last two years ECC and ECF have grown to 37 employees worldwide, opened offices in Mumbai and New York and are on track to achieve £3m sales in their second year – all without investment, borrowing or similar financing.
