But fear not, fans: the upcoming Pokémon series will feature Liko and Roy as protagonists (and Pokemon Quaxly, Sprigatito And Fuecoco from the games Scarlet and Violet as their faithful companions) and will have a new star: Captain Pikachu.

The official Pokémon account announced the happy news on Twitter, accompanying it with a picture of this new and adorable character.
