STEINHAUSEN, Switzerland, August 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Transocean Ltd. RIG announced today that the ultra-deepwater drillship, petrobras 10000, was awarded a 5.8-year contract to work off the coast of Brazil with a national oil company.

The contract adds an estimated $915 million in backlog and is expected to begin in October 2023 and end in August 2029.

Estimated inventory excludes revenue associated with anticipated customer use of the Company’s patented dual-activity technology Petrobras 10000.
