New evidence suggests that the former US President donald trump obstructing an investigation against him improper handling of secret documents.
What happened: The Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have gathered new evidence that Trump may have been trying to prevent an investigation of secret documents spotted at his Florida home, The Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing unnamed sources.

Last year, the FBI seized thousands of government files, including some marked as top secretby Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate.
The report added that in May, after Trump advisers received a subpoena to do so return of the classified records, The former US President personally reviewed some of the government documents at his home for safekeeping.
It added that the National Archives and Records Administration was trying Retrieve documents from Trump’s administrationhe had also directed others to deceive officials.
In the meantime, Trump, indicted on Thursday in one another investigation by the Manhattan Grand Jury in New Yorkdenied any wrongdoing in those cases, claiming they were politically motivated.
