Former President donald trump responded to the Address of the State of the Union delivered by Joe Biden in a series of social media posts on Tuesday night truth social.

What happened: Trump said, “China has never respected America more than it has in the four years that I have been President, and it hasn’t come close.”

The former US leader said China “paid our country hundreds of billions of dollars. No president ever got ten cents from them.”

“President Xi is laughing at our current leadership, he wasn’t laughing before…”

Why it matters: Trump ripped into Biden’s second address to Congress, saying the incumbent was “Social Security, Medicare and so many other things”!

The former president also attacked Biden over the pronunciation, saying the latter was “stumbling” and “stumbling” and “can’t get the words out.” He said: “I don’t want that to happen, but the world is watching and it’s not a pretty sight!”

Trump’s tirade at Biden’s address included mentioning the President of a George W Bush-era AIDs program, NATO and the US dependence on oil.

During House Speaker Kevin McCarthy received praise from Trump, the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was attacked by him.

“Mitch McConnell looks like hell, so bad for the Republican Party!”
