MEXICO CITY, September 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — TV Azteca, SAB de CV AZTECACPOXTZA)), one of the two largest producers of Spanish-language television programs in the world, announced that it has exercised its right of defense regarding the communication from The Bank of New York Mellon —Trustee of the Noteholders— who gave notice of the intention to redeem the Notes early 400 million dollars Notes due 2024.
On 8th August TV Azteca has provided the above notification and is currently attempting to exercise the rights consistent with applicable law.
The Company reiterates its commitment to continue constructive dialogue with the holders of the Notes due 2024 to reach an agreement favorable to all interested parties.
