HAMPTON, NH, Oct. 26, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Unitil Corporation UTL (unitil.com) announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Neveen F. Awad, Ph.D. to the board. The addition of a new Director is part of the Board’s normal succession planning process in anticipation of the upcoming retirements of Directors who reach the mandatory retirement age of 75. dr Awad will stand for election to the Board of Directors by the company’s shareholders at the next annual general meeting, which will be held in April 2023.
dr Awad is a partner and managing director of the Boston Consulting Group (“BCG”), a global management consultancy. She leads the Detroit office and is also the global leader of BCG’s technology platform offering. Before BCG, Dr. Awad Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Business, a public research university in Detroit, Michigan. dr Awad earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan School of Business.
