Billie Eilish Receives First Universal Music Group x REVERB Amplifier Award
SANTA MONICA, California., February 4, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Universal Music Group (UMG), the global leader in music-based entertainment, today announced an expansion of its partnership with HALLa leading non-profit environmental organization focused on collaborating with musicians, festivals and venues to increase sustainability and reduce the environmental footprint of the live music industry.
The partnership was highlighted earlier today by UMG’s Chairman and CEO, Sir Lucian Grainges Artist Showcase and will be featured tomorrow at UMG’s annual 65th Anniversary After-Partyth Annual Grammy Awards. A number of new technologies from CO2 removal, renewable energy sources and recycled materials have been and will be implemented at the events. In addition, the menus of the events are 100% meat-free and come from the region. The events serve as models for sustainability standards at future UMG events.
