Watch with others: Another way to watch the game for free is to find a local bar or restaurant that plays the game. There’s no shortage of venues offering matchday specials, particularly in many major metro areas, such as new York, Detroit, Dallas or Scottsdale, Arizona.

Be sure to call ahead and check, as some bars or restaurants are closed or hosting private Super Bowl parties.
