New details are revealed about the man accused of breaking into the House Speaker nancy pelosihome and severely beat her husband, Paul Pelosi. David De Pape42, was arrested at the Pelosi home early Friday he allegedly aattacked Pelosi’s husband with a hammer.

Sources specify that DePape entered the house through a sliding glass door and yelled: “Where’s Nancy?” before attacking Paul Pelosi.

District Attorney of San Francisco Brooke Jenkins has said she is expected to face multiple criminal charges including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and elder abuse.

After the violent attack, Paul Pelosi underwent successful surgery to repair a fractured skull and serious injuries to his right arm and hands. Drew Hammillspokeswoman Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.

Who is David DePape?

DePape grew up in Powell River, British Columbia before leaving to follow a friend to San Francisco about 20 years ago. According to his stepfather Gene DePape he had lived with him in Canada until he was fourteen and had been a quiet boy.
