AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc AMC was up over 5% at one point Monday but on below-average volume.

The cinema chain has seen increased interest from investors, along with several other retail-favored stocks that have come under pressure over the past two years.

StockTwits CEO Rishi Khanna sees continued interest in AMC on this platform, noting that the stock has been the most talked about in 2021 and 2022 a recent interview with Benzinga.

AMC that was just unveiled details via its “Sightline at AMC” program (dividing theater seats into tiers with different prices) is expected to trade higher. The stock formed on Monday an inner bar pattern on the daily chart. An inside bar pattern indicates a consolidation phase, which is usually followed by continuation movement in the direction of the current trend.

An inside bar pattern has more validity on larger time frames (four hour chart or larger). The pattern has at least two candlesticks and consists of a mother bar (the first candlestick in the pattern) followed by one or more subsequent candlesticks.
