The Fix, a documentary series that approaches the history and impact of the War on Drugs in the United States, premiered on January 21, 2022. It was produced by roku ROKUan American company that manufactures streaming equipment and produces audiovisual content.
The new series consists of eight agile and intense episodes between six and nine minutes, narrated by none other than Samuel L Jackson. When asked, “How to win the War on Drugs?” Jackson replies emphatically, “By ending it.”

What are the episodes about?
Basically, the documentation wants to show that a lot is not what it seems. The first episode is titled “Everything We Think We Know About Addiction Is Wrong.”
Therefore, the remaining episodes maintain the premise of “everything we think we know…” and cover various topics, such as the beginning of the war on drugs, the effects of substances on the brain, substance-related violence, drug politics, and the opioid crisis.
It should be noted that the audiovisual work is based on the book After the screamby the British journalist John Hari. Hari acted as executive producer Jeremiah Zagar and Jeremy Yachesand directed and produced the documentary.
