To bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and traditional payments, Circlethe company behind it USD coin USDC/USD added support for Apple AAPL Counting.

What happened: On Tuesday, Circle said it would allow customers to trade cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin BTC/USD, ether ETH/USD on their preferred exchange with Apple Pay. According to Circle, this will make it easier for customers who don’t use cryptos to buy cryptos from crypto-native companies.

“NFT marketplaces, crypto gaming, crypto exchanges, crypto wallets, and cross-border remittance providers can grow their businesses by simplifying Apple Pay and Circle checkouts,” Circle said in a blog post, adding that Apple Pay is more secure and faster is a payment method because “customers no longer have to create an account or fill out lengthy forms.”

Apple Pay is available to “eligible businesses,” and Circle claims it’s “a simple process.” With Circle, customers can pay online and in apps using their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and other compatible devices.

This comes at a time when cryptocurrency is being exchanged FTX collapsed, sending shockwaves across the industry. circle has denied any exposure to FTX.
