A new video posted on donut media The YouTube channel features car enthusiasts experimenting with a Dainese driver’s jacket with integrated airbags to get interesting results.
What happened: The video, which garnered nearly 696,000 views at the time of publication, shows the Donut team experimenting with a Dainese driver’s jacket with an integrated airbag. Dainese is an Italian company that manufactures motorcycle clothing, sportswear and protective gear.
The jacket brings technology from racing suits designed for MotoGP riders to street riders. It fills with argon gas in 45 milliseconds when it senses an impact, three times faster than a flash, to protect the driver from serious injury.
