Artemisia: The police said on Friday that they had filed criminal proceedings against Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Salma, four senior national police officials and two other officials for the reason they were in Kola, Mizoram. He said that Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli and Cachar District Forest Officer Sunnydeo Chaudhary were also booked for the same allegations.
Neihlaia said that in addition, cases against 200 unidentified Assam police officers were also registered.
He added that four police officers and two administrative officials had been summoned for questioning on Sunday.
