VIRGINIA CITY, Nev., Feb. 02, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Comstock Inc. VEIN (“Comstock” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Corrado De Gasperis, Executive Chairman and CEO, will be attending the Nevada Clean Energy & Transportation Conference and will participate in a three-person panel dedicated to manufacturing in the electrification supply chain. The Nevada Clean Energy & Transportation Conference begins today, February 2nd, at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, NV.

“The manufacture and recycling of critical battery-grade minerals and metals is critical to sustainably reducing our reliance on fossil fuels,” said Mr. De Gasperis, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comstock Inc. “Nevada is building on its existing leadership position in Mining and metallurgy naturally target these technologically advanced discovery, extraction and beneficiation processes.”

The Nevada Clean Energy & Transportation Conference is hosted by the Nevada Battery Coalition and the Nevada Clean Energy Forum. This new trade association enables the full potential of Nevada’s lithium-ion battery supply chain. Comstock helped found the Nevada Battery Coalition with the following companies: 3PL, Albemarle, American Lithium Corp/Tonopah Lithium Corp, Aqua Metals, Cypress Development, Dragonfly Energy, Ioneer, Lithion Battery, Lithium Americas, NV Energy, Panasonic and Tesla .

Comstock also recently announced that the US Department of Energy (“DOE”) awarded its $2,000,000 grant application to build a pre-pilot scale system to incorporate one of Comstock’s unique new ways of manufacturing of renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, gasoline and more to demonstrate marine fuel made from forest residues and other forms of lignocellulosic biomass with dramatically improved yield, efficiency and cost compared to known methods for decarbonizing transportation.
