Throughout the year, a growing number of donors have helped the organization help more families and individuals become independent of transportation or receive support from the proceeds of donated vehicles that are sold to third parties.

“Thanks to the very charitable and understanding folks out there, we’ve been able to help a lot of people get jobs, access quality food, and get their kids to and from school in their own vehicle,” said a spokesman for Driving Successful Lives. “When we receive vehicles in acceptable condition, we can give them directly to those in need, but we also accept vehicles that are not roadworthy. We just sell these vehicles and use the proceeds to provide aid.”
