NGOs raise money to curb opioid addiction with psychedelics…

That 100 million way foundation (100 MW)a nonprofit organization focused on damage control and improve life quality of those with opioid use disordersalmost moved in $100,000 in donations at a recent gala to commemorate the work done so far.

Co-founder and CEO Brian Chadwick commented, “We are honored by the overwhelming support from those who have joined us for our first Dinner Gala.”

In 2022100MW implemented four programs addressing mental health, stigma and social inequality supported by scientific data to inform the community, clinicians and policy makers about the opioid epidemic.

The new $100,000 fund will help enable the implementation of a drop-in SOAR session program, one of the most requested programs on offer.

The donations will also cover the design of two programs for the upcoming year 2023, the clinical research protocol Psychedelics as Medicine to determine the effects of an oral ketamine/CBD combination on opioid dependence, and the emergency management program. The latter is the most effective Approach to keeping people sober by “paying for sobriety” – a small reward is given weekly to participants who do not have opioids in their urinalysis.

The gala, held September 21 in New York City, was hosted by former director Brian Chadwick and Dr. Michelle Shuffett, Chair of the Event and Advisory Board Member. speaker including Chadwick himself, peer support specialist of 100MW Rhoshanda Jones, CMO of Vireo Health Dr. Stephen Dahmer, Founder and CEO of OnTracka Chad Walkeden, Founder and CEO of Wesana WSNAF Daniel Carcilloand CEO and co-founder of Columbia Care CCHWF Nicholas Vita.
